PORTLAND | The Warner Pacific Knights dropped a Tuesday night non-conference matchup against the Corban Warriors 52-80.
Drew Magaoay led the way in scoring for both teams finishing with 20 points on 9-15 from the field and grabbing five rebounds.

The Rundown
Corban came out punching, jumping out to a quick 13 point lead in the first seven minutes, including three back-to-back-to-back treys.

The lead was the beginning of one that Warner Pac would spend the remaining thirty minutes of the competition chasing.

The Knights, struggling to find a rhythm offensively, scored just 21 points in the first half, giving the Warriors a 17-point halftime lead.

Coming out of the break, the game came more natural for Warner Pacific as
Drew Magaoay began to heat up; the junior for Shoreline, Washington, scored 11 points in the second half to finished with 20 on the night.

Ultimately, the Warriors' 42.9% from the field in the second half was too much for Warner Pac's 34.2% and the Knights failed to close the gap.

Christian Hodge garnered the game-high 14 rebounds, a WPU career high for the junior from Los Angeles. Hodge contributed seven points.
