PORTLAND | Six of Warner Pacific's seven eligible players scored in double-digits in the 90-86 overtime thriller. Warner Pacific scored 20 points in the overtime period and 32 points off of turnovers in the victory. The Knights move to 4-6 (3-3 CCC).
"I was proud of the way our team competed both games this past weekend which resulted in a great team win tonight" said Warner Pacific first-year head coach
Jamayne Potts. "Even though we lost Friday night, I was happy with the way we played and competed even though we made our errors" he said. "That momentum carried over into the second game. We corrected the areas that resulted in our loss from Friday night; shooting 84% from the free throw line tonight compared to 56% the night before. It was great we also had 6 guys in double figures tonight. Everybody did their job tonight and that's why it was a great team win" Potts added.
