Junior College Champion and All-American Triple Jumper Signs with WPU Track and Field

Warner Pacific University track and field announced the signing of junior college champion and All-American triple jumper Dillon Zheol. Zheol is a local athlete who attended Estacada High School and was the state champion his senior year in the triple jump, then went on to Clackamas Community College and won the NWACC junior college title as well.

Zheol has personal bests of 50' 9.5" (15.48m) in the triple jump and 23' 5" (7.13m) in the long jump. In addition to being the OSAA state champion in high school, he is also the school record holder at both Estacada High school and at Clackamas Community College. He is a biology major and plans to work as a lab technician.

"We are really excited to add Dillon to our men's track program. He is an excellent student and athlete who can have a big impact for us in the jumps. He is also another local high school and junior college talent that fits in well with everything we want to accomplish with our program," said Head Coach Randy Dalzell.
