LEWISTON, Idaho| The Knights fell in three sets to Lewis-Clark State in their matchup on Friday night 25-13, 25-13, 25-16.
Lewis-Clark State jumped out to a 15-3 lead in the first set. Warner put up a four point run to bring the set to 15-7. The Knights offensive flurry wasn't enough however and the Warriors took the first set 25-13.
The second set was more competitive at the start. The Knights kept the Warriors within striking distance for the first half of the set. Momentum shifted in the set with the Warriors holding a 14-10 lead. Lewis-Clark State went on an 11-3 run to take the second set 25-13.
The Warriors remained in control for the final set. The Knights had two separate scoring clusters and was able to bring the game to a four point deficit. Lewis-Clark was able to close out the set, however, winning 25-16 to win the match 3-0.
Top performances for the Knights include Elizabeth Reid who led the team with 7 kills. Juju Williams led the team with 8 digs.
The loss drops the Knights to 1-18 on the season. Volleyball is back in action Oct. 29 when they take on Walla Walla University.
