LA GRANDE, Ore.| The Knights five-game win streak was snapped when they took on Eastern Oregon on Friday.
Warner Pacific (6-3, 3-1) went on the road to take on the Mounties (6-4, 3-1) on Friday to open up a big weekend of conference play.
The Knights and Mounties traded leads for the first five minutes to open the game. After the initial back and forth, Eastern Oregon jumped out to a modest lead and were able to keep the Knights at bay.
Towards the end of the first half, the Mounties extended their lead to double digits, and eventually went into the half up by 17.
The Knights kept pace with Eastern Oregon in the second half but weren't able to overcome the deficit, falling by a score of 102-83.
Warner had four players score in double digits, with
Isaac Etter leading the offense with 19 points and 4 assists.
Thomas Miles had another good game, scoring 17 points and leading the team with 6 rebounds.
The loss puts the Knights at 6-3 on the season. Men's basketball is in action again on Dec. 17 when they travel to take on College of Idaho. Â
