Knights Fall to #3 College of Idaho

CALDWELL, Idaho| The Knights fell in their matchup against College of Idaho on Saturday by a score of 76-64.

Warner Pacific (6-4, 3-2) had their work cut out for them when they took on the no. 3-ranked College of Idaho (10-1, 5-0) to round out their weekend road trip.

College of Idaho got out to an early lead that they held on to for the rest of the game. Despite playing from behind, the Knights did their best to keep one of the NAIA's top teams close, holding the Yotes to a single digit lead by halftime. The Knights were led in the first half by Maxwell Moses who got his first start of the season and scored 10 points in the first half.

The Yotes extended their lead in the second half, leading the Knights by as much as 18 at one point. The Knights fought hard but the deficit was too much to overcome and they fell to the Yotes 76-64.

Top performances for the Knights include Dakota Reber who led the team with 17 points. Thomas Miles scored 10 points and led the team with both 9 rebounds and 4 steals.

The loss drops the Knights to 6-4 on the season. Men's basketball is back in action on Dec. 30 when they take on Oregon Tech at home at 7:30 p.m.
