SALEM, Ore.| The Knights couldn't hold off a Corban comeback during their matchup on Friday as the Knights fell 51-45.
The Knights got out to a hot start against the Warriors, holding Corban to just two points in the first quarter and opening the game on a 10-2 run.
Corban got on track offensively in the second quarter as the Warriors were able to reduce a 15 point Warner lead to just a 4 point lead for the Knights going into the half.
Turnovers and a lack of offensive production from the Knights in the second half opened the door for Corban to complete their comeback. The Warriors outscored the Knights 17-6 in the fourth quarter as the Knights fell by a final score of 51-45.
McKeeley Tonkin led the Knights in the game with 12 points while also bringing in six rebounds.
The loss drops the Knights to 0-5 on the season. Women's basketball is back in action tomorrow when they take on Bushnell at 3pm.
