Knights Fall in Conference Matchup Against Bushnell

EUGENE, Ore.| The early season woes continued for the Knights as they fell in their matchup on Saturday against Bushnell 74-62.

The Beacons (6-2, 3-0 CCC) held the lead for the entirety of the game after jumping out to an early lead over the Knights (0-6, 0-3 CCC).

Bushnell held a 19-5 lead at the end of the first quarter and went into halftime leading by 20. The Knights outscored Bushnell in the second half, but it wasn't enough to erase the deficit as the Beacons got the win 74-62.

Bella Pedrojetti provided much of the offense for the Beacons, leading the team with 21 points.

The Knights were led by McKeeley Tonkin who scored 18 points. Emily Brown led the Knights with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.

The loss drops the Knights to 0-6 on the season. Women's basketball is in action again on December 5th, when they take on Lewis & Clark College at 8:00 p.m.
