Knights Drop Home Matchup Against Oregon Tech

PORTLAND, Ore.| The Knights fell short in their matchup against Oregon Tech on Friday by a score of 72-42.

Warner Pacific (0-11, 0-6) went into the game looking to get their first win of the season when they hosted Oregon Tech (8-4, 4-2).

The game was tightly contested in the first half. The Knights and Owls traded leads multiple times in the first two quarters, with Warner holding Oregon Tech to a five point lead going into the half.

Things took a turn for the worse in the third quarter as cold shooting and foul trouble for the Knights led to them getting outscored 21-5 by the Owls.

The lead was too much for the Knights to overcome and Oregon Tech went on to win by a score of 72-42.

The charge for the Owls was led by Olivia Sprague who led the team with 15 points and also grabbed four rebounds.

The Knights were led by Emily Brown who recorded a double double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

With the loss, the Knights are now 0-11 on the season. Women's basketball is back in action Dec. 31 when they host Southern Oregon University.
