CALDWELL, Idaho| Warner Pacific men's soccer began conference play on the road with a 3-1 victory over College of Idaho on Friday.
Both Leach brothers scored goals in the contest for the Knights. Brendon got the scoring started early with his first of the season off of an assist from
Alain Murhula in the 11
th minute. The Yotes evened up the game in the 20
th minute until Hunter broke the tie by scoring his fourth of the season just before the half to give the Knights a 2-1 lead.
The game was tightly contested and the score remained 2-1 for almost the entire second half.Â
Andrew Martinez scored a goal in the 89
th minute to bring the game to its final score. The goal was the 10
th of the season for Martinez, who has scored in every game for the Knights this season.
The game was by far the most physical affair for the Knights this season. A total of 14 cards were issued throughout the game. Six cards were awarded in the final 10 minutes of play.

Andrew Martinez continued his strong season, reigning CCC Defensive Player of the Week
Alexis Calderilla had another strong showing in the net.
Calderilla had his most active night of the season defensively, racking up seven saves to ensure the Knights came out on top.
The Knights advance to 6-0 on the season with the victory. Men's soccer is in action again on the road Sept. 17 against Eastern Oregon University.
