CALDWELL, Idaho| Warner Pacific volleyball fell in straight sets in their matchup against College of Idaho on Saturday by scores of 25-19, 25-9, 25-16.
The Knights were able to jump out to a 13-6 lead in the first set. College of Idaho was able to rally back and even the game at 16-16 before going on to win the set 25-19.
The second set was controlled by College of Idaho, who rode big scoring runs to a 25-9 set victory.
The Knights fought hard in the third set. Warner went back and forth with the Yotes, bringing the game to 13-13 tie. From there, College of Idaho was able to find a groove and come away with the 25-16 set to complete the sweep.
Elizabeth Reid had a strong performance for the Knights, leading the team with seven kills.
Sabah Mohammady lead the team with 13 digs.
Tevlin Britten also had five kills and 10 digs on the night.
The loss drops the Knights to 0-7 overall and 0-2 in conference play. The Knights are in action next on Sept. 23 at home against Walla Walla University.
