PORTLAND, Ore.| The Knights fell in their matchup against crosstown rival Multnomah on Tuesday by a score of 66-52.
Warner Pacific (1-16, 1-10) came into the game looking to avenge a narrow loss to the Lions (4-14, 2-10) earlier in the season.
Multnomah led the entire way, going up by nine by the end of the first quarter, and holding a double digit lead for the nearly the rest of the game. The Lions would go up by as much as 20 in the game before getting the win 66-52.
The Knights were led offensively by
Serena Sanchez who scored 12 points.
McKeeley Tonkin was another top performer for the Knights, scoring 10 points and grabbing 7 rebounds.
The loss drops the Knights to 1-16 on the season. Women's basketball is back in action on Jan. 20 when they host Bushnell.
