Reber Records Second Straight Double Double as Knights Top Wolves

PORTLAND, Ore.| Dakota Reber recorded his second straight double double and helped the Knights to an 81-60 win over Walla Walla on Saturday.

Reber helped the Knights (9-5, 6-3) get off to a hot start over the Wolves (0-14, 0-9). The Portland native was a perfect 5-5 from the field in the first half, including 2 three pointers. Thanks in part to Reber's hot shooting, the Knights went into the half up by 14.

The momentum continued for the Knights in the second half and they were able to extend their lead to 20. The Knights got offensive contributions from multiple players in the second half including Mark Wishom. The junior guard came off the bench and was perfect from the field, scoring 13 consecutive points for the Knights.

The high powered offense couldn't be stopped and the Knights came away with the 81-60 victory.

The Knights had strong performances from a number of players to help secure the win. Dakota Reber recorded his second straight double double and fourth of the year by leading the team with 22 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Colton Gorski scored a personal season high of 16 points. Gorski also made his presence known on defense, getting two blocks and three steals.

Other notable performances from the Knights include Mark Wishom who scored 13 consecutive points in seven minutes in the second half. Caleb Tyree-Morgan also added to his impressive block total by rejecting four shots on the night.

The win puts the Knights at 9-5 on the season. Men's basketball is back in action on Jan. 13 when they take on Northwest University.
