Portland, Ore. | The Knights had their first game in the Thanksgiving Classic hosted by Lewis & Clark College today against Pacific Lutheran University and fell in another close one by a final of 71-68.
The Knights shot the ball alright today going 26-65 for 40% from the field which unfortunately fell short of the Lutes who shot 43.1% from the field. The Knights were led in scoring tonight by Matt Solomon who had 18 points followed closely by Maxwell Moses with 14 and Cade Baker with 11. Those were the only three Knights in double figures today.
This game was a barn burner of a basketball game that featured 14 ties and 12 lead changes. Both teams stayed glued together till the end which unfortunately for the second straight game in a row, ended with the Knights coming out on the rough end of a close contest. The Knights had just lost a tight one 78-75 to the hands of the Multnomah University Lions. The Knights fall to 2-3 overall and remain 0-1 in conference play.
