Warner Pacific lost against Bushnell University 85-68 in a game that was much closer than dictated by the score. Ultimately, the team didn't accomplish their goal tonight and will look to bounce back tomorrow against Corban University.
In a back and forth first half which saw 7 lead changes, Warner found themselves down just 3 entering the break. Maxwell Moses shot perfect from the floor and free throw line, securing himself 9 points in the half. Matt Solomon finished the half with 8 points which were all scored in succession, including a step back 3 that gave the Knights the lead.
The second half saw the Knights get outscored by 14 points, and even though they had some good looks they could not get the offense going.
Collin Oestereich and Matt Solomon lead the team with 16 points each, while Solomon also had a team high 7 rebounds tied with Caleb Tyree-Morgan.
Men's Basketball looks to bounce back against the Warriors of Corban University tomorrow night at 5 PM, here at CC Perry gym.
