Warner Pacific Men's Basketball entered the night looking to bounce back after a few losses. Unfortunately, they fell to the Warriors 73-61 after a 22-0 run by the Warriors to start the second half.
The Knights executed early and extended their lead to start the game leading 9-1. They continued to build on this early advantage and headed into half up 29-26 thanks to 10 points from Caleb Tyree-Morgan which included a pair of 3 pointers.
In the second half things started to fall apart, with the Warriors going on a huge run early. A comeback began to mount thanks to the shooting of Matt Solomon, who ended the night with a team high 16 points. The deficit was too much to overcome, and the final score ended 73-61.
After a disappointing weekend for the Knights, they look to comeback and build momentum next weekend. The season is still young, and the team is very new to each other, there is still a lot of time to achieve what we want to this year.
The Knights are in action next in a non-conference matchup against Linfield University on Saturday, December 9th with tip off scheduled for 7 PM here in CC Perry gym.
