Portland, Ore. | The Warner Pacific Knights men's basketball squad lost another tough one tonight this time to the hands of the Wildcats of Linfield University by a final score of 72-59 at CC Perry Gymnasium.
The Knights started the game shooting very well going into halftime with a 37-26 lead shooting 48.3% from the field including 6-13 from three.
Sean Johnson played an excellent first half shooting 5-5 from the field including 3-3 from three good enough for 13 points to lead all players in the first half.
The second half proved to be a struggle for the Knights shooting 26.5% from the field. The Wildcats on the other hand shot 52.9% from the field in the second half putting the game on ice.
For the game,
Matt Solomon led the Knights in scoring with 17 points on 7-16 shooting. Caleb Tyree-Morgan had a double double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Sean Johnson after his hot first half with 13 points only managed one bucket in the second half finishing with 15 points.
Next Up
The Knights will enjoy a week to practice and prepare for a huge last weekend before winter break. They will take on Eastern Oregon this Friday at 7:30pm and College of Idaho next Saturday at 5pm at CC Perry Gymnasium.
