COLLEGE PLACE, Wash.| Warner Pacific men's basketball earned a runaway victory over Walla Walla on Friday, scoring a season high en route to a 115-62 win.
The Knights (18-8, 15-6) traveled to take on the Wolves (1-25, 1-20) to open the final weekend of regular season action on Friday.
Warner Pacific jumped out to a big lead early on. Hot shooting in the first half gave the Knights a 20 point lead within the first 10 minutes of action.
Warner continued their momentum, shooting 67% from deep and from the field overall to expand their lead to 36 going into the half.
The Knights looked to their bench and continued to extend their lead throughout the second half.
Josiah Castillo led the way for the Knights in the second half, scoring a season high 11 points in his 15 minutes of action.
When it was all said and done the Knights earned a lopsided 115-62 win.
It was a team effort for the Knights as five players scored in the double-digits.
Thomas Miles led the way with 22 points on the night, while
Isaac Etter, Caleb Tyree-Morgan,
Dakota Reber, and
Josiah Castillo all scored at least 11.
Darius Traylor also recorded a season high of 10 assists in the game.
The win puts the Knights at 18-8 on the season. Warner Pacific men's basketball closes out the regular season on the road tomorrow as they take on Lewis-Clark State.
