PORTLAND, OR | The Warner Pacific volleyball team lost in three sets today to the Owls of Oregon tech in the C.C. Perry Gymnasium.
The Knights lost all three sets by scores of 9-25, 15-25, and 17-25. The Knights were led in kills by
Elizabeth Reid who had 6 on the night followed closely by
Izzy Moore who had 5. The Knights had a little bit of a block party going on as well this evening with
Maryann Tulele checking in with 2.
Shelby Martin and
Kyla Reiling each had 1 block apiece as well. As usual,
Kyla Reiling was an assist machine earning 16 of those this evening bringing her season total to 185.
"This group continues to show a ton of promise of where we can be," Head Coach, Kim Lissinna said. "It's just a matter of turning small moments into a consistent process."
The Knights as usual improved set by set making each set closer than the last which really shows that this team even though they struggle to win sets, they don't throw in the towel when things don't go their way and they battle hard to improve on the last set.
Next Up
The Knights will have a quick turnaround as they take on the Southern Oregon tomorrow at 5pm at Eastside Timbers Complex.
