PORTLAND, OR | The Warner Pacific volleyball team fell to Southern Oregon today in three sets at C.C. Perry Gymnasium in front of a solid crowd.
The Knights lost in three sets to Southern Oregon by scores of 16-25, 15-25, and 12-25. The Knights might not have won but they put up a solid fight seeing how one team was ranked #19 in the country and the other was 1-12 going into the matchup. The match got out to a rough start with the game starting 45 minutes late due to a referee scheduling issue.
The Knights were led in scoring by
Elizabeth Reid who contributed 4 kills to go along with her five points and a .200 hit percentage.
Izzy Moore and
Autumn Gaboury-Parker also had 4 kills on the night.
Kyla Reiling led the way in the assists category per usual with 12.
Alyssa Asuncion was huge in the middle with 9 digs followed by
Maryann Tulele who had 7.
"Tonight, we showed a ton of grit and hustle in our back court which is a place that we can build from," Head Coach, Kim Lissinna said.
The Raiders were led by Marin Mackey who had 12 kills with a .455 hit percentage. Hanna Stadstad had 5 kills with an impressive .714 hit percentage.

The Knights will enjoy a week of no travel and will play at home against Northwest University on Friday, September 22
nd at 7pm in the C.C. Perry Gymnasium.
