Men's soccer pulled out a big win against Evergreen State College with a final score of 2-1. The Knights were able to put pressure on Evergreen all game, and even with a late penalty shot goal by the Geoducks, the Knights were able to lock it down.
The Knight's first goal was scored by Senior, Antonio Cipriano-Ojendiz, in the 37th minute. He was assisted by Freshman Omar Tapia. The second goal for the Knights came in the 61st minute by Junior, Bodo Calderon, which opened up the Knights lead. He was assisted by Senior Chanin Orlandin. Even with two great goals, the Knights were able to pull out a win due to keeper Noe Rodriguez who had four saves on the evening.
The Knights will play Northwest University tomorrow at 2:30pm where a tailgate will take place at 2:00pm to highlight WPU homecoming.
