Portland, Ore|Â In their second to last preseason game, the Knights came away with a big 70-59 win over the division three University of Puget Sound Loggers. The Knights went up by 6 early in the first half and were able to keep that lead into halftime as they went into the locker room leading 35-25. The second half was a little slower, as the Loggers found a way to crawl back in and even take a 45-44 lead with 12 minutes remaining. However, the Knights pushed through and found a way to hold the Loggers to 15 points total during the rest of the game.
The struggle for the Knights today came offensively even as they put up 70 points during the game. They missed 37 field goals for a 41.3% shooting percentage and only made 4 of their 18 threes for a 22.2 shooting percentage. Leaders in points were Senior

With one more preseason game to go the Knights are looking strong and are hoping to make a big push as conference play begins. With eight new faces, the Knights are hoping that these new players will bring the spark needed to bring the Cascade Collegiate Conference trophy back to Portland.
The Knights will take the court again on Saturday, November 23rd as Lewis and Clark College will make the drive across town. The game is set to be in the afternoon with tip off at 2pm. The Knights will then go on to start conference play on November 26th, when their conference rivals, the Multnomah Lions get their first taste of the 2024-25 WarnerPac at 7pm.
