Men's soccer finished the regular season with a win as they shut out Eastern Oregon University 3-0. With this win the Knights finished the season with an overall record of 12-5-1 and a conference record of 8-4-1.
Bodo Calderon had two unassisted goals during the match, scoring his first goal during the 42nd minute of play and his second during the 77th minute of play. The third goal for the Knights was scored by Freshman Abe Fuchs, which marked his fourth of his career. The shut out was kept alive by Keeper Noe Rodriguez who had four saves during the match.
The Knights next match will take place in Medford, Oregon which marks the beginning of the Cascade Conference men's soccer playoff. The time and opponent is yet to be announced so make sure to check the Warner Pacific Athletic website for the most up to date information.Â
If Rocky Mountain College loses or ties with Bushnell tomorrow, the Knights will obtain the third seed in the tournament. If Rocky Mountain wins they move up to the third seed and the Knights would fall to the fourth seed.
