Knights Battle Through Key Injuries to Beat Evergreen

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - December 20th, 2024

Olympia, Wash.| The Knights were able to take their first conference win against Evergreen State College with a final score of 68-56. The Knights led in the first half which set them up for success in the second half as they hung onto their lead.

One of the biggest reasons Evergreen State college was able to keep it close was due to the Knights three point shooting. They made four of their 22 threes taken for a shooting percentage of 18.2%. But yet, defense once kept the Knights in the game as they had 45 rebounds, 17 of which were offensive, nine steals and three blocks.

Individually, the Knights were led by Tre'von Cason who put up 19 points. Cason also had nine rebounds during the game.  He was followed by Terrin Dickey who had 13 points, three steals and a block. The Knights bench also showed out as they put up 18 points, nine rebounds and four steals.

The Knights will continue their road trip tomorrow as they travel to Northwest University. Tip off is set for 5pm  at Kristi Brodin Pavillion. After tomorrow's contest, they will take a few days off and resume their road trip at Multnomah on December 30th, at 5pm.
