Matt Solomon Edges Past 1000 Points in Loss to Multnomah

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – December 30th, 2024

Portland, Ore.| The Knights Men's Basketball team lost their second game of the season to Multnomah tonight this time by a final score of 79-60.

The Knights struggled to get much going from the field today shooting a decent 40.4% from the field but turned the ball over 12 times resulting in 15 points for the Lions. The Knights did have four players in double figures with Matt Solomon having 18, Terrin Dickey having 12, and both Tre'von Cason and Sean Johnson having 11. The Knights struggled from the charity stripe tonight going 18-28 including going 11-17 in the second half which helped Multnomah keep their lead without a whole bunch of stress.

A major bright spot in today's game was the play of Matt Solomon who was back from injury. Solomon had 18 points which put him passed 1000 points in his college career. He now sits at 1012 and has plenty of games left this season to add to that impressive total. Solomon now has 577 points as a Knight having played just 31 games through last season and this season.
