Dickey Scores 21 in Loss to Corban

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - December 6th, 2024

Salem, Ore.| The Knights suffered a loss against Corban University that ended in a final score of 68-56. The first half determined the outcome as the Knights were only able to put up 22 compared to Corbans 36. The second half was better as the Knights put up 34 but it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit put in place by the warriors.

Shooting was tough for the Knights as they only made two of their attempted three point attempts and shot a field goal percentage of 38.5%. Even free throws found themselves bouncing the wrong way with the Knights going 14-21 from the line. However, even though shooting was rough, the Knights played solid defense. They were able to bring down 29 rebounds, six blocks, and four steals. Matt Soloman once again put up numbers for the Knights scoring 13 points. But he was not the only one. Junior Terrin Dickey was able to lock in as he scored a career high of 21 points with six field goals and six rebounds.

The Knights will play tomorrow in Eugene against Bushnell University in the Morse Center. Tip off is set for 5pm following the Women's game. They will then take the week off before continuing their road trip at Linfield University in McMinnville, Oregon at 7:30pm.
