Knights Fall to the Geoducks

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – February 23rd, 2024
 
Portland, Ore.| The Knights had their second to last game of the season taking on Evergreen State College and they fell by a final score of 64-44.
 
The Knights tonight were led in scoring by Larsa Guzman who had a great game filling up the stat sheet having 9 points, 7 boards, and 2 assists on 4-8 shooting. Emily Brown had 8 points and 12 boards continuing to be a consistently impressive player for the Knights. Teirra Hicks had 8 points and McKeeley Tonkin had 7 points before fouling out late.
 
The Knights as a team shot 19-66 from the field for 28.8%. They shot 2-18 from distance. From the free-throw line, the Knights struggled mightily shooting 28.6% hitting 4-14 of their shots.
 
The Geoducks hit 19-45 of their shots good enough for 42.2% from the field. It was not amazing shooting but it was enough to best the Knights.
 
Next Up
The Knights will look to finish the season out strong tomorrow on Senior Day against Northwest University at 3pm at CC Perry Gymnasium on Bart Valentine Court.
