Men's soccer broke their winning streak today after a 12-day hiatus from their last game. The Knights lost 3-1 against the Pacific Lutheran Lutes in Tacoma, Washington. The Knights went up by one early on in the first half. The goal was scored by Freshman,
Abe Fuchs, and assisted by Senior
Chanin Orlandin in the 12th minute. However, this was not enough as the Lutes went on to score three unanswered goals in the second half.
During the match, Senior,
Chanin Orlandin, showed out, as he had the only assist for the Knights and put up 6 shots of his own, which accounted for over half of the shots the Knights put up. Senior,
Bryce McCole, and Freshman,
Abe Fuchs, put up 4 shots a piece as well. Offside was a big issue, as the nights had six called against them during the match.Â
Men's soccer has their next game on Friday September 20th at 2:30pm. The Knights will take on the Oregon Tech Owls in Klamath Falls, before continuing their road trip to Ashland, Oregon where they will play the Raiders of Southern Oregon University on Sunday the 22nd.
