Bodo Calderon Scores 2 Goals in Loss to Providence

Men's soccer suffered a tough loss against the University of Providence this afternoon. The Knights were up 2-1 going into halftime, but the Argos came out swinging in the second half. They put up three goals in 11 minutes of play making the final score 4-2. 

Both of tonight's goals for the Knights were scored by local Junior, Bodo Calderon. He scored his first in the 28th minute and was assisted by Senior, Antonio Cipriano-Ojendiz. Calderon's second goal came in the 42nd minute right before the half. This goal was assisted by Junior midfielder, Brendon Leach as well as Sophomore, Hunter Cunningham. This was Cunningham's first assist of his career.

The Knights will continue their 9 game home-stand on Saturday September 28th at 2:30pm where they will take on Carroll College. They will then have the week off before playing Evergreen State College on October 4th at 2:30pm.

GAME UPDATE AS OF OCTOBER 10TH
This game has been changed to a Providence forfeit due to them breaking the 365 day sit out period for transfers. The Knights pick up a 1-0 win per NAIA forfeit rules and move to 4-2 in conference.
