Portland, Ore.| The Knights Men's Basketball program played the 15
th ranked, Lewis-Clark State College today and played them close until the very end when the Warriors pulled winning by a final score of 73-60.
The Knights kept this game very close not really going up or down beyond 5 points for most of the Knight. The Knights almost even had the lead going into the half but LCSC was able to hit a shot at the buzzer tying the game at 37. The Knights continued to play solid basketball in the second half behind the back of
Jurrien Sparks who scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half.
The Knights played really close until about the five-minute mark of the second half when Lewis-Clark State's depth started to finally give them the edge on a tired Knights team pulling away to a 13-point victory.
The Knights were led by
Matt Solomon who had 16 points followed by
Jurrien Sparks who had 13. All but three Knights scored at least a bucket tonight helping the Knights fight for a legitimate chance to pull out a huge upset.
