Olympia, Wash.| Knights Men's Soccer took on Evergreen State College today and took over in Washington with 3-0 win over the Geoducks.
Warner Pacific delivered a dominant performance today on both sides of the ball. The Knights' got it started right away with only 42 seconds played when Ethan Zavala scored making it his first goal of the season. At the end of the first half Wicho Gonzalez put another goal in with the assists coming from Gabriel Rincon and Bryan Carmona. The final goal of the game came off the foot of Bryan Jimenez who stepped up and took a penalty kick putting it into the back of the net.
Defensively, Warner Pacific was equally impressive, with keeper Owen Purvis, who recorded four saves in a full 90-minutes.
Next Up
The Knights now with a 5-game winning streak has a 6-2 conference record and are 10-3 overall. They will head up to Montana next Friday to play against Carroll College at Nelson stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:30pm.
