Helena, Mont.| Knights Men's Soccer were in Helena, Montana tonight as they took on Carroll College and took the loss 2-0 in an important conference match against the Saints.
Warner Pacific came out strong with Bodo Calderon and Bryan Sanguino providing a spark but despite the early pressure, it was Carroll who struck first. In the 29th minute, Nils Benning found the back of the net with the setup from Joseph Satterthwaite, putting them in the lead early.
In the second half, Warner Pacific spent their time trying to tie the game while Carroll College tried to increase their lead. Increasing their lead they would in the 82nd minute when Enrico Paparelli scored with the assist by Felix Billard, effectively sealing the result. Despite the knights creating some plays, the Carroll defense stayed strong taking the win.
Next Up
The Knights now hope to reset and get back in the win column as they face another Montana team, it being Rocky Mountain College. The game will be this Sunday kickoff at 12pm in Billings, Montana.
