Portland, Ore.| Warner Pacific University Volleyball took on the 11th ranked Lewis-Clark State College tonight and fell once again in three sets.
Lewis-Clark State continued its strong conference play with a dominant 3-0 sweep over Warner Pacific. The Warriors who are now 15-4 came into town and took each set with the scores being 25-19, 25-9, and 25-9. Lewis-Clark State was led by Taylor Boyce with eight kills while Juliauna Forgach Aguilar and Abby Beaton added six and four respectively. Setter Esther Kailiponi dished out 19 assists and five digs, while Ella Stosich had 17 of them.
The Knights did come out strong though putting up 19 points in set one but couldn't get the job done. Tayah-Anne Toa led the Knights with seven kills, followed by Naomi Johnson with six and JahNay Jardine who had four. Audrey Histed recorded 10 assists, and Angel Camagay led the back row with eight digs.
Next Up
The Knights have a game scheduled this Saturday and play against Walla Walla University who the knights were able to take a set in their last match. This contest is scheduled for 8pm at CC Perry Gymnasium on Bart Valentine Court.
