Caldwell, Idaho.| Warner Pacific University Volleyball took a tough loss as they lost all three sets to the College of Idaho this evening in a conference matchup.
The Yotes this evening took full advantage of their home court advantage as they sent the Knights home after three sets of play, with the scores being 25-15, 25-9, 25-13. The Yotes were led by Abigail Flerchiner who had 12 kills and played strong defense with a total of 42 digs. They were able to keep the Knights silent this evening.
Though the Knights were stopped today, we saw how Tayah-Anne Toa emerged once again as the kill leader, providing another strong performance for the Knights. Blake Barbee getting in the mix also with some blocks and kills. Audrey Histed, Pa'oakalani Payne-Kaeo, and Angel Camagay were all able to give the Knights a chance with some strong defense and assists.
Next Up
With another loss, you can still notice how the whole team is starting to come together in their games and they will need it tomorrow as they head over to La Grande, Oregon to face the number ten ranked Eastern Oregon University. The game is set to start at 4pm at the Quinn Coliseum.
