Portland, Ore.| Warner Pacific University Volleyball took on the 18th ranked College of Idaho and lost in three sets at home.
The College of Idaho dominated especially in sets one and two and then outlasted the Knights who were playing with pride in set three to complete the sweep.The final set scores were 25-8, 25-12, and 25-22. Offensively, the Yotes were led by Brooke Garman, who led with 11 kills. Setter Madeline Lee ran the offense, dishing out 22 assists. Defensively, Kadence Boyd helped give the ball back to the offense with 12 digs.
For Warner Pacific,
Tayah-Anne Toa led the team with five kills while
Nicole Nikiforets followed with four.
Pa'oakalani Payne-Kaeo recorded nine assists and seven digs, while
Angel Camagay led all players with 13 digs showing great resolve especially in the third set with a strong defensive effort.
Next Up
The Knights have two games left this season and will continue to try and hunt their first win. They head to Olympia, Washington to face Evergreen State College November 7th at 6pm. The game will be held at Constantino Recreation center.
