Knights Fight Hard But Lose To Evergreen For A Second Time

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – November 7th,  2025

Olympia, Wash.| Warner Pacific University Volleyball took on Evergreen state college and in a close matchup fell short in three sets.

Warner Pacific fell in straight sets to Evergreen  on Friday night, as the Knights couldn't get a win from the Geoducks. The final set scores were 25-15, 25-17, and 26-24. It was a close match between the two but the knights kept hurting themselves with 37 errors. 

Zofia Formella led the offensive with 13 kills but Sophia Scroggins would be better all-around with 11 kills, also adding a service ace and five digs. Ashley Walker Campbell followed with 9 kills and 3 blocks.

For the Knights Josie Schultz had a strong night with 9 kills of her own. Pa'oakalani Payne-Kaeo ran the offense with 25 assists and added 16 digs. Defensively, libero Angel Camagay anchored the back row with 13 digs while Mia Carmen got in there with her own nine digs, along with Reagan Slyter getting eight, followed by Jodecee Jardine with six. Jardine also added seven kills to the stat sheet. 

Next Up
The Knights have one game remaining and they still hunt to end the season with a win. They had a strong night tonight but need to clean it up for their final match. They will face 21st ranked Northwest University at 4pm tomorrow in Kirkland, Washington at the Kristi Brodin Pavilion.
