FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – November 10th, 2025
Medford, Ore.| Warner Pacific Men's Soccer were back in a familiar spot tonight in the Cascade Collegiate Conference Semifinals this evening facing off against a Rocky Mountain team that they had played two weeks ago. Last time the two teams faced off, no winner came out of the game. This time there was a result and it was a happy one that saw the Knights walk off victorious by a final score of 2-0.
The Knights opened the scoring with just two seconds left in the first half when Damian Palominos headed in a long pass from Chris Marcial-Cruz for his first goal of the season. Then right out of halftime, the Knights scored just a few minutes into the period when Abe Fuchs slotted a shot into the top-right corner off a through ball from Bodo Calderon in the 48th minute .
Both sides came out firing today with the knights having 13 shots and Rocky Mountain having 12. Owen Purvis stood on his head tonight and saved all four of Rocky Mountain's attempts on goal keeping them at zero and earning Purvis a clean sheet. Along with the defense playing strong tonight getting in all the passing lanes and giving up their bodies for the good of the squad.
Just like last match it was a chirpy one with a total of seven yellow cards. Keeping this intense rematch one for the books.
