Redding, California.| Warner Pacific Knights Women's Basketball had a tough game against Simpson University tonight falling by a final score of 72-60.

The Knights were led by Riley Layton tonight who had 18 points tonight going 6-8 from the field including going 6-9 from the charity stripe. Kiki Brooks found herself in double figures as well with 12 points. Brooks almost had a double double as well grabbing seven rebounds. Kayla Kasubuchi and Bryten Gumke each followed with seven. "It's hard to win on the road." Head Coach Jimmy Smith said. "We missed on a few opportunities to help ourselves out but it's early in the year and we will look to bounce back tomorrow."
