FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – November 8th, 2025
Medford, Ore.| Warner Pacific Men's Soccer played their quarterfinal match of the CCC Tournament tonight against fifth seeded College of Idaho and ended the Yotes season by a final score of 3-1.
Warner Pacific earned a strong win in the CCC tournament by another standout performance from senior Bodo Calderon. Calderon opened the scoring in the 13th minute calmly converting a penalty kick for his 13th goal of the season. The Knights controlled much of the game thanks to strong defensive play and goalkeeping from Owen Purvis.
In the second half, Warner Pacific's attack continued as Bryan Carmona doubled the lead in the 50th minute assisted by Brian Canela. It was a nifty header just seconds after a penalty kick by Calderon was saved by the Yotes keeper. Calderon struck again in the 76th minute with his 14th goal of the season sealing the win. College of Idaho managed to respond less than a minute later, with Eric Hornung scoring in the 77th off an assist from Sawyer Luthy but it was too little too late as the Knights walked off victorious.
