Portland, Ore.| The Warner Pacific Men's basketball team came back to conference play against Walla Walla University and secured the win 82-70 to secure their first conference win.
The Knights leader in this game was
Jurrien Sparks who finished with 24 points, going 4-7 from three while
Jevon Blackmore was not too far behind scoring 23 points on 9-11 shooting.
Chad Napoleon added a strong inside presence with 20 points and 6 rebounds. The Knights at the line shot 78.6% sealing those points for the win.
Walla Walla was led by Jordan Jackson's 19 points in his return to his previous institution. Chike Ezeonu had 16 points and 11 rebounds. Walla Walla's second-half struggles cost them the game, going 0-4 from three point land and going 3-10 at the line which allowed Warner to take the ultimate advantage and get the win.
Next Up
With this first conference win, they will look to double up against Lewis-Clark State College. Tip is at 5pm this Saturday at the CC Perry Gymnasium.
