Knights Huge Comeback Bid Falls Just Short

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - February 1st, 2025

College Place, Wash.| The Knights fall to Walla Walla University with a final score of 85-80. The first half was killer for the Knights once again as they were held to 28 points in the first half. They were able to turn it around after half time, but it was not enough as the Wolves were able to hang onto their lead.

As a team the Knights struggled offensively, shooting 28% from three and 38% from the field. Most of their makes came in the second half which included 17 made free throws. Defense was once again the Knights highlight as they were able to secure 33 rebounds and create 19 turnovers. The team also had 10 steals and 21 points off of the turnovers they created.

From an individual standpoint the Knights were led by Junior Tre'von Cason who had 27 points off the bench with two steals. His points were accompanied by Junior Jurrien Sparks who had 18 with seven rebounds, three of which were offensive.
