Portland, OR.| The Warner Pacific Volleyball team took the loss in their home opener against Southern Oregon University Volleyball as they took all 3 sets from the Knights this evening.
Tonight's match for the Knights was a rough one, losing all 3 sets to Southern Oregon with the final scores being 25-13, 25-13, and 25-7. The Knights had a tough time today creating any type of momentum against Southern Oregon's high powered attack. Even with a tough time on offense, the defense did well collectively tonight with Mia Carmen leading in digs with six, Reagan Slyter and Pa'oakalani followed with 5. Even with that, Southern Oregon was able to break down the defense led by Riley Curtis with 9 kills.
On offense tonight, Audrey Histed saw some action tonight with 11 assists, and JahNay Jardine posted 6 kills, leading the Knights.

A quick turnaround for the Warner Pacific volleyball team, hoping to erase this loss from their system as they once again host their next match against Oregon Tech this Saturday, with their first match kicking off at 4:00p.m. at the C.C. Perry gym.
