Portland, Ore.| Warner Pacific Men's Basketball fought hard against a great College of Idaho team but the Yotes were just too much as the Knights fell by a final score of 87-71 at CC Perry Gymnasium.
The WarnerPac had a difficult first half on both offense and defense being outscored 52-29 behind 11 points from Tucker Tiddens. The Yotes shot a sizzling 55.3% from the field in the first half, including going 6-14 from distance. The Knights on the other hand shot 33.3% in the first half, which allowed the Yotes to take a deciding advantage early. After halftime, the Knights dug in and started to play inspiring basketball outscoring the potent Yotes offense 42-35 in the second half. The energy and fight were very much there for the Knights in the second half pulling within 11 points late in the contest before the Yotes finished the Knights comeback attempt off with a few timely three-point shots. The Knights were led tonight in scoring by
Nico Perez-La Costa, who scored 17 points in which 12 of them came in the second half. Perez-La Costa also had six rebounds and two steals as well.
Chad Napoleon followed up Thursday's double-double performance with a near double-double tonight earning 12 points and eight rebounds. Napoleon also had four assists, a block, and a steal.
The Yotes were led by Rey Johnston who finished with 19 points, six rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal. Johnston's one blemish was that he turned the ball over five times to the Knights. Dougie Peoples continues to be a thorn in the side of the Knights scoring 14 points and having four assists. Utrillo Morris had himself quite the night, almost earning a double-double the hard way finishing with 13 points and nine assists. Morris also contributed five rebounds and a steal as well.

The Knights will look to put this tough weekend behind them and move on to next weekend when they take on Lewis-Clark State and the Wolves of Walla Walla. They will play LCSC in Lewiston, Idaho with tip set for 7:30pm at the P1FCU Activity Center.
