Portland, Ore.| Warner Pacific Women's Basketball had a tough challenge tonight facing a great College of Idaho squad and it proved to be too much as the Knights saw themselves fall by a final score of 75-38 in front of an unusually large crowd at CC Perry Gymnasium.
"In the third quarter, we showed some fight that were positive for the team," Jimmy Smith said. "We're going to learn from this challenging week and continue to grow."
The first two quarters for the Knights ended with the Knights scoring just ten points (five per quarter). The Yotes played excellent defense and even better offense, ending the half with a 43-10 advantage. Whatever Knights head coach Jimmy Smith said in the locker room at halftime must've lit a fire under the Knights because in the third quarter, the Knights had their best period outscoring the Yotes 15-14.
The Knights tonight was led in scoring by
Skylar Groesbeck who finished with 11 points and one rebound. Groesbeck was the lone night in double-figures with
