Ashland, Ore.| Warner Pacific Women's Basketball finished a tough weekend by dropping a game to Southern Oregon University by a final score of 88-43 at Lithia Motors Pavilion.
The Knights in this game were led once again by
Shielteal Watah who continues to impress, scoring 13 points and gathering four rebounds in just 24 minutes of work. Watah continues to show that more minutes could and should be in her future.
KJ Custer finished with seven points, a rebound, and three steals helping the Knights out. The Knights as a team shot a cool 30% from the field going 2-17 from deep. Watah and
Matty Woolf hit the only threes of the game for the Knights.
Southern Oregon feasted tonight with Bridgett McIntyre once again being a thorn in the side of the Knights scoring 34 huge points also grabbing six rebounds. Eliza DiGiulio followed with 15 points and Sage Winslow had 11 rounding out the Raiders that had double figures. The Raiders shot 45.6% from the field going 16-29 from distance.
Next Up
The Knights will come home and get ready for Senior Weekend and hope to clinch a playoff spot as early as Thursday. The Knights will play Evergreen State College on Thursday at 5:30pm at CC Perry Gymnasium.
