Nzube Mekkam Has Great Night As Knights Break Losing Streak

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – February 19th, 2026

Portland, Ore.| The Warner Pacific Men's Basketball hosted Evergreen State College and got the win with a final score of 89-76.

The Knights shot over 58 percent in the first half and finished the night with 47 percent overall from the field, putting up 10 three-pointers. Isiah Salim led the knights with 25 points on 9-of-13 shooting including with seven rebounds in a standout all-around performance. Chad Napoleon and Nzube Mekkam both had 12 points while Josh Lincoln came off that bench and had his own nine points.

Evergreen kept the game interesting with Tony Frohlich-Fair's 20-point game and Bradley Graham who scored 10 points on efficient shooting. However, the Knights created separation with its depth and second-half shooting, outscoring the Geoducks with key rebounds from Terrin Dickey and Napoleon. Evergreen improved offensively after the break but ultimately couldn't stay consistent enough to generate a comeback.
