Portland, Ore.| The Warner Pacific Men's Basketball hosted Evergreen State College and got the win with a final score of 89-76.
The Knights shot over 58 percent in the first half and finished the night with 47 percent overall from the field, putting up 10 three-pointers.
Isiah Salim led the knights with 25 points on 9-of-13 shooting including with seven rebounds in a standout all-around performance.
Chad Napoleon and
Nzube Mekkam both had 12 points while
Josh Lincoln came off that bench and had his own nine points.
Evergreen kept the game interesting with Tony Frohlich-Fair's 20-point game and Bradley Graham who scored 10 points on efficient shooting. However, the Knights created separation with its depth and second-half shooting, outscoring the Geoducks with key rebounds from
Terrin Dickey and Napoleon. Evergreen improved offensively after the break but ultimately couldn't stay consistent enough to generate a comeback.
Next Up
This was a big win for the Knights and now towards their final game of the season which will be played at home as they host Northwest University on Saturday. The game is scheduled for 5pm at the C.C Perry gym/fitness center.
