After holding the Warriors scoreless in the top half of the seventh, the Knights had an opportunity to win the game. After the Knights first two batters would fly out harmlessly,
Ryleah Torres came up and slammed a double down the left field line giving the Knights life with two outs in the frame. After a
Madelyn Lahey walk,
Kili Makanani came up and ended the game with an RBI single to left field driving in Torres to win the game 4-3.
Kili Makanani not only came through with the walk-off single, but she also pitched the full seven innings today for the Knights, giving up just six hits and three runs. Makanani also had five strikeouts.
