Knights Complete Sweep of Corban

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – March 8th, 2026

Milwaukie, Ore.| Warner Pacific Softball finished their four-game series against Corban University and dominated today, getting two mercy rule wins. The final scores today were 10-2 and 8-0.

Game Three
The Knights got it going in the first inning with a triple to drive in the opening run and had a big rally finishing the first up 4-0. The Knights would score one more run in the second before Corban answered with their first run of the ball game in the top of the third. The Knights would explode offensively in the bottom four with multiple hits and situational hitting. Despite Corban scoring two more runs in the top of the fifth, it wasn't enough to stop the mercy rule from being used to give the Knights the win.

Offensively, Warner Pacific was locked in up and down the lineup. Noelani Barawis went two for four with three runs and two stolen bases. Mailli Bode had two hits and an RBI. The RBI leader for this game was Skyler Groesbeck who had three on one hit. A close second in RBIs with two was Brylee-Rose Demello. Sofia Cherry, Ryleah Torres, and Madeyln Lahey each had an RBI. In the circle, Kili Makanani delivered yet another complete-game performance going all five innings allowing two runs and striking out two Warriors hitters.

Game Four
The Knights wasted no time taking control once again in this contest, exploding for five runs in the first inning. The Knights were not finished as they added another two runs in the second inning. They would finish off the day with a single run in the fourth to earn their second mercy rule win of the day.

For the offense, the Knights were led by Jordyn Rosario with an impressive two hits and three RBIs. Everyone got in on the action today with five out of the nine hitters checking in with hits. In the circle for the Knights, it would be Macey Tovar who went all five innings and had an impressive performance with no runs allowed and only surrendering two hits. Tovar evened up her win-loss record this year at 1-1.

The Knights after starting the season 0-6 have now won 10 out their last 12 games and are now 10-8 with a lot of momentum on their side.
