No. 21 Ranked Great Falls Stops WP, 3-1

Box Score

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Warner Pacific men's soccer team opened their 2012 season with a 3-1 loss to NAIA #21 ranked Great Falls today at the CCC/Frontier Challenge in Spokane.

It was a competitive game from start to finish, but UGF was able to capitalize on a few mistakes from the Knights. The Knights struck first thanks to a brilliant one-time finish from Jameson Jones after a crossing pass from Brandon Tatum, but were unable to keep Great Falls off the board after that.

The Argo's Danny Delgadillo slotted home his own deflected ball after a charge through penalty area, and pounced on a failed clearance to earn his second. Both were in the first period.

Paul Silwa tacked on a third goal for UGF with a speculative shot from distance that slipped through the hands of Knight keeper Dorian Lair.
