Box Score KIRKLAND, Wash. – A second half goal by Northwest U's Josh Guerrero lifted the Eagles to a 2-1 Cascade Conference win this afternoon on the NU Athletic Field.

Guerrero's goal came in the 50th minute off a cross from teammate Mack Samuelsen and he headed it in from 6 yards out into the upper left corner of the net.

Taylor Young opened the scoring for NU at the 22:16 mark as he hit a 10 yarder after Mack Samuelsen laid a nice pass to Josh Guerrero for the double assist on the play.

Almir Celebic tied the game in the 32nd minute as he dribbled up the left side and put it past the NU goalkeeper from 20 yards out.

Northwest (6-3, 4-1 CCC) led in the shot results with 18 shots to WPC's 14. Joe Glabraith held Warner Pacific (2-4, 1-3 CCC) scoreless in the second half as he grabbed 6 saves in the period, 9 for the game. Dorian Lair had 2 saves in goal for the Knights.
